Housed in the enclosure rooms of a Prémontré monastery (1144 - 1552), this museum informs about the history and development of the cloister Jerichow. In addition to architectonic pieces, an entire find of medieval everyday dishes is on display, which had been found in 1983 in a dig located in the inner yard of the cloister.
Exploration and exhibition of the medieval brick architecture in the Elbe-Havel region it’s to see. Production as well as early preparation of the bricks and technical and design peculiarities of brick architecture from the Romantic period are the subjects of this exhibition.
