Selling over museum federation
This interesting book on all the natural history museums and collections of the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt is the most comprehensive and descriptive of its kind in Germany. Fascinating artifacts of the past and present are awaiting in the region to be discovered by visitors. For example, the Museum of Natural History and Prehistory in Dessau has the skull of an ancient saurian, while the Spengler Museum in Sangerhausen boasts of a well-preserved skeleton of a mammoth. The zoological, botanical, geological, anatomical and domestic animal studies collections of the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg are apparently inexhaustible. Some artifacts in the State Museum of Prehistory in Halle, such as the skeletal remains of Bilzingsleben or the forest elephant of Gröbern, are even of international standing.
